My primary campaign theme is one of academic focus, financial responsibility, open

communications and continuing to ask the tough questions.

As a mom and active volunteer in the Aledo community, I naturally want the best for my children. A big reason my family moved to Aledo was the school system. As our area continues to grow in population, our school district needs visionary leadership to effectively deal with the change growth brings. I want to see our schools continue to excel. Better educated students result in healthier, more vibrant communities, and improve a region's economic outlook - that is why education is an important concern for everyone.
